Go where fixed services do not
Place monitoring and security capability at entrances, fields, assets and infrastructure where dependable municipal power may not be available.
Smart Solar Caddy · Remote edge solution
Smart Solar Caddy brings solar and battery-backed power, compatible cameras, edge computing and secure connectivity together in one field-ready solution. It keeps essential monitoring close to site and prepares selected events and evidence for authorised Nvirosense™ workflows.
Place monitoring and security capability at entrances, fields, assets and infrastructure where dependable municipal power may not be available.
Run local device supervision and qualified NviroView™ processing on one protected edge computer instead of relying on continuous upstream video.
Connect approved device state, camera inventory and configured operational events to the appropriate Nvirosense™ workflow as each integration is commissioned.
Partnered with GSS
Solar Caddy 100 and 200 bring solar and battery power to equipment beyond dependable fixed services. Build around the needs of CCTV, access control, perimeter equipment and wireless connectivity, with a configuration selected for your site.
Smart Solar Caddy brings that power foundation together with NviroEdge™ and NviroView™ for local equipment supervision and edge AI vision. Solar resource, connected load and operating conditions guide the final design.
Solar Caddy 100 & 200
One solution, clear responsibilities
Smart Solar Caddy packages the physical deployment. NviroEdge™ operates the local edge. NviroView™ provides the vision role. Nvirosense™ gives authorised teams the central Security and operational context.
The complete field solution: qualified solar power, protected battery distribution, cameras, connectivity and one edge-compute unit.
One physical computer inside the enclosure. Edgebox describes the appliance role; NviroView™ identifies its AI-vision role.
The local software layer for devices, cameras, networking, storage, system health, power visibility and resilient edge operation.
The central platform where authorised Security Vision, evidence, alerts and other operational views can be connected under approved integrations.
Camera events and evidence belong in Security Vision. Solar, battery and load state belong in the local NviroEdge™ power view and, where a central telemetry integration is commissioned, the appropriate Nvirosense™ Energy surface. One Smart Solar Caddy can support both without merging their records or response rules.
Protected power and compute
A qualified Smart Solar Caddy configuration brings the battery, solar charge control, fused distribution, voltage conversion, connectivity and shared edge computer into one protected installation. Optional components such as PoE switching or an inverter are selected around the actual equipment and load.
Smart Solar Caddy Vision
Compatible cameras connect to the shared edge computer, where NviroView™ can run qualified models close to site. Configured observations and selected evidence can then support authorised review without treating every detection as an alarm or sending every continuous stream to the cloud.
Use site-qualified cameras and viewpoints for the area that matters.
Run qualified inference locally for the selected model, resolution and frame rate.
Present configured observations and selected evidence to authorised users.
Create a Security Event only when an approved rule and workflow interpret the observation.
From site to response
Each layer has a clear job, so temporary connectivity loss does not turn into lost local visibility and an AI observation does not silently become a physical command.
Receive camera, controller and supported field-device inputs at the site.
Run qualified local camera and device workflows on NviroEdge™.
Keep local state and timestamped records through intermittent uplinks where configured.
Use the commissioned secure bridge to exchange approved inventory and operational context.
Give authorised teams the appropriate Security Vision, evidence or Energy view.
Apply configured acknowledgement, escalation or operational rules in the owning workflow.
